About Winsor Photography:

Hello. My name is Tara Winsor. I am a wife, and a mother to the sweetest little miracle. I love to sleep in, and stay up late. You can often find me up until 2 or 3 in the morning editing images, or creating new things. I love music, and can often be found with headphones in my ears. I enjoy spending time with my family, and do so every chance I get. I hate being alone. I always like to have company. I crochet in the winter when it's cold. I love playing the Wii, and am trying to improve my bowling skills. I love Olive Garden and could eat their salad and breadsticks all day long. I have recently been introduced to specialty cupcakes, and am in love. I love watching "The Office" and "The Amazing Race". I really don't like being cold, at all. But I absolutely ADORE the beach, and would live on one if I could. I am a techno geek, and spend a lot of time trying to figure out, research, and play with the latest electronics. And lastly, I am a photographer. Take a look around at everything, and let me know what you like! Feel free to email me at info@winsorphotography.com or give me a call at 435-770-9367.

    A beach + A Gorgeous Couple {Engagement Photography}

    Friday, August 26th, 2011

    Ashley works with my sister, and when I put out a model call for some couples a few months ago, she jumped at the chance.

    Ashley and Jeremy have been married for a year, and are probably the cutest couple EVER. I still consider them newlyweds though. ;) They love taking pictures together everywhere they go, so they have all these pictures of all of their dates. AWESOME! Jeremy was patient, and kind, and you could see how much he adored Ashley and wanted to make sure she was taken care of and had what she needed. I am almost 100 percent sure that they way he looked at her at this session, is the same way he looked at her at their wedding. SO much love.

    We headed out to Saltair and did their pictures around there. It was my first time photographing a couple out there, and I was NOT disappointed! The light was stunning, the weather was perfect, and the water was great. There were a TON of flies, and when they would move, it seriously looked like a wave moving. Only it was a wave of flies. Disgusting! And thank you for ending the session with a water fight. :) It was perfect.

    Thank you so much Ashley for letting me capture you! You guys were stunning, and amazing.

    Has it been a while since you’ve had pictures taken of you and your hubby? GET SOME DONE! Seriously, your grandkids will thank you some day.

    Dance Family {Utah Family Photography}

    Thursday, August 25th, 2011

    Meet the amazing Dance Family.

    They all get together for a family reunion every year up at Park City. So, where else would be the PERFECT place to have their pictures taken! We headed up by the Canyon’s resort where they were staying. I have to say that this family is very organized! We were able to get their family photos done VERY fast! Most of the kids were extremely cooperative, and it was just a lot of fun. And um..how can you go wrong with a GORGEOUS family like this? Seriously.  ALL of them were beautiful inside and out.

    Thank you so much for letting me capture your family!

    Please enjoy. :)

    Danyelle and Jeff {Utah Wedding Photography}

    Monday, August 15th, 2011

    You will remember Danyelle’s bridals from this post here. They were married on a lovely day in June. I love how laid back Danyelle and Jeff are. They were so sweet, and willing to work with me on anything! Their families are absolutely the best, and it’s easy to see how Danyelle and Jeff got to be how they are. They are so full of life, and so completely in love. It was so fun getting to know them!

    They were sealed for time and eternity in the LDS Bountiful Temple. It was a hot day, and so we quickly moved around the temple to get some pictures.  Their reception was held at an outdoor park in Salt Lake County. If I could give advice to future brides, it would be, to GET A WEDDING PLANNER! They seriously make your day go SO much smoother! I had the privilege of working with ClairAnn, and she was an absolute delight. This was a very DIY wedding, and she had every little detail planned out. It was great!

    Thank you so much Danyelle and Jeff for letting me be a part of your day. It was an absolute blast, and I am SO glad I got to know you guys! I hope things are going great for you!

    Cali and Chris Formals {Utah Wedding Photography}

    Thursday, August 4th, 2011

    Dang, I was thinking I would be able to make this a shorter post, but I had way to many favorites. :) Cali and Chris have been married for almost a year now, but they wanted some more formal pictures of them in their attire. :) Cali, your dress was absolutely STUNNING!! Can you believe she had her dress custom made from another country? HOLY COW it was gorgeous, and one of a kind! If I were to marry my husband again, I would get a dress like this.

    But back to the couple. We met up at Temple Square, and went around the plaza. It was a pretty overcast evening, and the wind started picking up a little bit, but they were in GREAT spirits, and was amazing to watch these two interact. The way that he would watch her walk, to the way he would hold her. How she would look at him like he was the ONLY thing that mattered in this world. Seriously, they were SO fun to be around! And I am lucky to be able to call them friends, and can’t wait to get together with them again!And just to put things into perspective, these is a VERY SMALL sampling of their session.

    Enjoy.

    Greg + Lauren {Utah Wedding Photographer}

    Monday, August 1st, 2011

    I grew up with Greg and his family. So naturally, when I heard that he was getting married, I was VERY excited for him! And when they asked me to photograph their wedding, I was even MORE excited! And when I met Lauren, I knew that he had found the absolute PERFECT woman to spend the rest of eternity with! They were adorable together, and he treated her like a princess. And she was always looking at him with that hint of love in her eye. They were perfect.

    She was from Saint George, Utah so they planned their wedding at the St. George LDS Temple. It was GORGEOUS, and HOT! But they were absolutely STUNNING, and easy to work with!

    Their reception was held at the Bell Tower in St. George. It was an absolutely beautiful venue, and I would love to photograph there again! They had so much light, and the atmosphere was just perfect for these two!

    Daddy/Daughter Dance. PERFECT.

    And their going away outfits were PERFECT for them! They looked so great and happy!

    Congratulations you guys! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your special day! I wish you guys the VERY best!!
