Hello. My name is Tara Winsor. I am a wife, and a mother to the sweetest little miracle. I love to sleep in, and stay up late. You can often find me up until 2 or 3 in the morning editing images, or creating new things. I love music, and can often be found with headphones in my ears. I enjoy spending time with my family, and do so every chance I get. I hate being alone. I always like to have company. I crochet in the winter when it's cold. I love playing the Wii, and am trying to improve my bowling skills. I love Olive Garden and could eat their salad and breadsticks all day long. I have recently been introduced to specialty cupcakes, and am in love. I love watching "The Office" and "The Amazing Race". I really don't like being cold, at all. But I absolutely ADORE the beach, and would live on one if I could. I am a techno geek, and spend a lot of time trying to figure out, research, and play with the latest electronics. He was my Valentine today, as my hubby has been sick all night/day with the stomach flu.
How did I get to be so lucky?

Meet one of my bestest friends Tana, and her two ADORABLE daughters!! Seriously. They don’t come any cuter than this!
See the 3 year old? She’s full of sass, and energy. And has an imagination to rival anyone out there!
I had the chance to hang out with Tana one afternoon while we were in Cache Valley and we decided to play around with some pictures. Tana, despite what you say, you are GORGEOUS. And you are an AMAZING mother. Don’t EVER doubt that!
So I had the amazing opportunity to photograph these gorgeous girls. My life is bliss.

These were from back on Valentine’s Day, when the weather was warmer, and we didn’t have umm…SNOW on the ground. I am DYING for Spring, so I wanted to post something that was outdoors, and slightly warm.
This is my Bubba. (No, that’s not his REAL name, but it’s his “online” name ) He wanted to go outside and play, and I wanted to practice some new stuff for children’s portraiture. And as we ALL know, keeping up with a 2 year old is TOUGH!! So, I will take all the practice I can get!!
We headed out with the sidewalk chalk, and the bubbles. Remember, we are thinking everything SPRING here. And I let him go to town. This is right outside my apartment. Can I tell you how much I LOVE the brick in front of my place?! Seriously, why did I NOT catch onto this sooner!! Want pictures of your kids in front of it? Let’s plan a play date I ended up sitting in the middle of my parking lot for some of them (which prompted neighbors to come and ask if I was ok…) But I love these. I want to blow them up big for my little’s room.
All in all, we had one big thing of bubbles spill, and chalk ended up EVERYWHERE. (read: my door, the wall, the concrete, the parking lot, the flowers, and of course Bubba ) and I wouldn’t change a THING about it.

I’ve been getting cabin fever lately. Because really, it isn’t that fun to go out in single digit weather to take pictures for fun.
My little man has been feeling it to.

We decided on a bubble bath, that he treated more like a pool. Can’t wait for sunshine and poolside weather.

I decided to do a little mini photo-shoot of my little today.
It was cold outside, and warm inside.
So, I decided to set up a backdrop, and see what we could get with the light coming in from my front window. The light, might I add, was PERFECT! I decided that my front room is PERFECT for taking indoor photos!
But anyway, I asked Bubba if he wanted pictures taken, he said yes, and picked his clothes to wear. I can’t believe my little is growing up so fast. He looks SO grown up in photos now. 
Makes me sad.
So I took his pictures (seriously, 5 minutes worth, and then he was done) and he melted my heart.
So here is a sample of what I took. I am in LOVE with it.

Last year, my friend bought a gift certificate for Sarah. (oh, you didn’t know I offer gift certificates? Why, yes, yes I do Please contact me for more information.)
So, we finally arranged a time to do pictures of her boys. We headed out to Wheeler Farm and explored around. The oldest had a hard time warming up to me. He didn’t want his picture taken AT ALL. But we were able to get him to enjoy himself and have fun, which in turn came out to some good photos!
Sarah thank you SO much for letting me be a part of your family! And I can’t wait until next month!

fact: I haven’t run around in a session as much as I have in this one! It was a lot of fun though!

My favorite photo that I have taken this week and have actually gotten around to, is this one.
This boy was so.stinkin.cute.
And let me tell you, he did NOT make my job easy. But he made it totally worth it! And his family is the cutest family you will ever meet. Seriously.
I love the way that the he is looking at me. When I see this picture, I see the trust in his eyes. He’s not scared of me, he’s not worried that I’m going to make him do something crazy, and he knows that I’m his friend.
THIS is why I do what I do. For moments like this. For looks like this. For meeting the people and building relationships with them, like this.
THAT is what this photo is for me.
and I am SO.THANKFUL.
