About Winsor Photography:

Hello. My name is Tara Winsor. I am a wife, and a mother to the sweetest little miracle. I love to sleep in, and stay up late. You can often find me up until 2 or 3 in the morning editing images, or creating new things. I love music, and can often be found with headphones in my ears. I enjoy spending time with my family, and do so every chance I get. I hate being alone. I always like to have company. I crochet in the winter when it's cold. I love playing the Wii, and am trying to improve my bowling skills. I love Olive Garden and could eat their salad and breadsticks all day long. I have recently been introduced to specialty cupcakes, and am in love. I love watching "The Office" and "The Amazing Race". I really don't like being cold, at all. But I absolutely ADORE the beach, and would live on one if I could. I am a techno geek, and spend a lot of time trying to figure out, research, and play with the latest electronics. And lastly, I am a photographer. Take a look around at everything, and let me know what you like! Feel free to email me at info@winsorphotography.com or give me a call at 435-770-9367.

    Brooke {Utah Portrait Photography}

    Thursday, February 16th, 2012

    I REALLY needed a hair cut, so I talked to a friend who recommended this sweetie. I called, made an appointment, and got my hair cut.

    She did AMAZING. I swear, I would get my hair cut EVERY week, JUST for the shampoo and head massage. :)

    I couldn’t get over how stunning she was. So I made a date with her to take her pictures.

    Tell me, is she not absolutely STUNNING?!

    SO, if you are in Davis County, and need someone to cut your hair, contact me for her info. She is seriously AMAZING.

    And I couldn’t choose which pictures to put, so I apologize for the overload.
    This is probably my most FAVORITE portrait session. :) Loved it.

    Enjoy.

    Cecily {Utah Portrait Photography}

    Tuesday, September 20th, 2011

    Cecily is a gorgeous, sweet girl. She is quiet, and constantly has a smile on her face. She happens to be one of my sister’s best friends, and is an amazing friend to her.

    We went out to play, and got to enjoy some stormy weather, and a touch of sun.

    Enjoy.

    Wesley – 2011 Davis High School {Utah Senior Photographer}

    Wednesday, June 15th, 2011

    I walked into the front room, and talked to Wesley’s mom, who I had grown up with, and considered a second mom. Wesley walked into the room, and I couldn’t believe my eyes!! I think the last time I saw him, he was 10. WOW!! Now look at him! All grown up. It sure makes me feel old. :/

    Wesley just graduated from Davis High School a couple of weeks ago! He loves to run, and is currently a lifeguard. :) His sister was my BEST friend growing up, and it was SO good to see him and their family again!! Love you guys!!

    Do you know someone graduating this next year? I’m in the process of looking for Senior Ambassadors! Send me an email at info@winsorphotography.com to find out how you can get a free session. :)

    I don’t think I’ve had as much fun on a session than I did with these two! They are best friends, and SO full of personality!! Anna contacted me and wanted pictures taken of her and some friends. Emily wanted pictures as well, so we did the two of them together. This post is mainly Anna, and I will do another one for Emily.  They were willing to try anything, and I think I laughed so hard I cried. :) Thank you so much Anna and Emily for letting me capture your sweet personalities, and amazing friendship. :)

    Morgan ~ 2011 Davis High School {Utah Photographer}

    Wednesday, May 4th, 2011

    I absolutely LOVE photographing High School Seniors!! Their graduation photos can’t really be beat! They have so much spunk and personality, and they make me feel slightly younger again. :)

    This is Morgan. She is graduating from Davis High School this year! I have known her since she was LITTLE. And here she is…graduating High School, and is as beautiful as ever. She has an amazing voice, and loves to sing! And she is very feminine. Which is something I need being in a house full of boys!! We went to an Orchard and then chased the sun through Kaysville Main Street, and ponds.

    Thank you Morgan, and your mom, you guys were AMAZING, and SO much fun. :)

    And, for the record, I am still INSANELY jealous of you. ;)

    Enjoy! And if you are a 2012 High School Senior, shoot me an email at info@winsorphotography.com for some AWESOME information!!

    50 Years Later… {Utah Couples Photography}

    Wednesday, April 27th, 2011

    These two were some of the CUTEST people I have photographed. :)

    I received an email from their daughter who wanted pictures of them for their 50th wedding anniversary.

    FIFTY YEARS together!!!
    Hot dang! So we met down at Wheeler Park, and took them around to take some Golden Anniversary Pictures. They truly show how to stay married for 50 years. They laughed together, they held hands, they teased each other, and every time they would look at each other, you could see that they still LOVE each other. And probably more today than they did 50 years ago!  When I picture my life and being married in 41 more years, I hope that I look this happy and still in love as they do.

    Thank you guys for giving me a dream, and making me want to be a better person. Much love!!

    Enjoy! And shoot me an email at info@winsorphotography.com to book a session with me!

    Love my Girls {Utah Portrait Photography}

    Monday, April 11th, 2011

    I LOVE photographing return clients.  We get to know each other so well, and become great friends! Kinzee is NO exception! She is so full of life and spunk, that I LOVE being around her! We did pictures of her sweet little nephew the other day, and Kinzee needed some taken with her *long* hair! She is so gorgeous, and these were fun to try and capture!

    Kinz, I just love your guts. :)

    Make sure to leave a comment, and let Kinzee know how gorgeous she is. :)

    Enjoy! And do you want to book a session or a mini session with me? Shoot me an email to info@winsorphotography.com

    Film {Utah Portrait Photographer}

    Friday, March 25th, 2011

    Happy Friday!!!

    I absolutely love Friday’s. Probably because Sam gets the weekends off, and I know we can have fun as a family, and also the weekend is when I do a lot of my photoshoots!! Woot!
    And things are starting to pick up now that the weather is getting warmer!! YAY!

    Oh, except it is snowing today.

    Haha, so we are staying in where it’s warm, watching movies, and editing. :) It was then that I realized that I never showed you my practice with Film!

    You see, when I started photography 13 years ago, I started with film. I would load the film, take the pictures, and then develop the pictures in a dark room. LOVED it. And then the switch to digital happened. I followed along, but there has always been a tug at my heart for film. I kept my film camera, and would pull it out every now and then. I finally was able to get it working again, and went out and took some pictures with the b/w film that had been in my case for about 8 years. That’s why there are different tones in some of the pictures.

    I fell in love again.
    I LOVE FILM.

    So it’s now a project that I am working on, I want to shoot at least one roll of film a month. Just for fun.

    Here are the pictures from my first roll of film in 8 years.

    Enjoy!
