About Winsor Photography:

Hello. My name is Tara Winsor. I am a wife, and a mother to the sweetest little miracle. I love to sleep in, and stay up late. You can often find me up until 2 or 3 in the morning editing images, or creating new things. I love music, and can often be found with headphones in my ears. I enjoy spending time with my family, and do so every chance I get. I hate being alone. I always like to have company. I crochet in the winter when it's cold. I love playing the Wii, and am trying to improve my bowling skills. I love Olive Garden and could eat their salad and breadsticks all day long. I have recently been introduced to specialty cupcakes, and am in love. I love watching "The Office" and "The Amazing Race". I really don't like being cold, at all. But I absolutely ADORE the beach, and would live on one if I could. I am a techno geek, and spend a lot of time trying to figure out, research, and play with the latest electronics. And lastly, I am a photographer. Take a look around at everything, and let me know what you like! Feel free to email me at info@winsorphotography.com or give me a call at 435-770-9367.

    Wesley – 2011 Davis High School {Utah Senior Photographer}

    Wednesday, June 15th, 2011

    I walked into the front room, and talked to Wesley’s mom, who I had grown up with, and considered a second mom. Wesley walked into the room, and I couldn’t believe my eyes!! I think the last time I saw him, he was 10. WOW!! Now look at him! All grown up. It sure makes me feel old. :/

    Wesley just graduated from Davis High School a couple of weeks ago! He loves to run, and is currently a lifeguard. :) His sister was my BEST friend growing up, and it was SO good to see him and their family again!! Love you guys!!

    Do you know someone graduating this next year? I’m in the process of looking for Senior Ambassadors! Send me an email at info@winsorphotography.com to find out how you can get a free session. :)

    Morgan ~ 2011 Davis High School {Utah Photographer}

    Wednesday, May 4th, 2011

    I absolutely LOVE photographing High School Seniors!! Their graduation photos can’t really be beat! They have so much spunk and personality, and they make me feel slightly younger again. :)

    This is Morgan. She is graduating from Davis High School this year! I have known her since she was LITTLE. And here she is…graduating High School, and is as beautiful as ever. She has an amazing voice, and loves to sing! And she is very feminine. Which is something I need being in a house full of boys!! We went to an Orchard and then chased the sun through Kaysville Main Street, and ponds.

    Thank you Morgan, and your mom, you guys were AMAZING, and SO much fun. :)

    And, for the record, I am still INSANELY jealous of you. ;)

    Enjoy! And if you are a 2012 High School Senior, shoot me an email at info@winsorphotography.com for some AWESOME information!!

    My Brother {Utah Portrait Photographer}

    Thursday, January 20th, 2011

    Children of the same family, the same blood,
    with the same first associations and habits,
    have some means of enjoyment in their power,
    which no subsequent connections can supply…
    -Jane Austen

    This is my brother Curtis.

    He just turned 17 last month. He is the youngest of my siblings, the baby  of the family.
    and yet, even though I’m 10 years older than him (I CAN’T believe I just admitted to my age. :/) he still takes care of me.

    He was bored, and decided he wanted mine and Bubba’s company. He picked us up, fed us dinner, and kept us entertained.
    I am SOOO extremely lucky to have a family like I do. My brothers (I have 2) are AMAZING young men, who I have had the privilege of watching grow up.

    Curtis. You are outstanding. You have NO idea what you are capable of. :)
    Stay strong, stay true, and stay you.

    Love your guts. :)

    Enjoy! If you want to book a session with me shoot me an email at winsorphoto@gmail.com

    Washington Seniors 2010/2011 {Washington Portrait Photography}

    Monday, December 6th, 2010

    Continuing on in Seattle, we did some group shots of all the Senior, since well, they are all best friends!

    You have seen Kayla and Kaylani on here before. :) I did a session of each of them in Utah over the summer! So we got some more shots of them, and then all of them together. They are really SO much fun to be around! Made me feel like a teenager again. :) They are all Seniors at Kentlake High School in Kent Washington.

    A little story about the shoot. The day started out as a DOWNPOUR. It was dark, and dreary, and just looked no fun. :S But since I was visiting, we couldn’t really reschedule! So we made it work. It cleared up for about 10 minutes of the shoot, but was raining hard the rest of the time! As you will see in some of the photos! Luckily, the place we went to had a small overhang building where we could stay dry, and still get some of the good light that we needed!! So, take a look and let me know what you think!

    Enjoy!

    Friday, December 3rd, 2010

    Sorry I missed yesterday :( I was away, and didn’t set it up to automatically update. Boo hiss, I know.

    Anyway, let’s continue on with another one of my Kentlake Seniors from Kent, Washington.

    This is Sarah. And she is by far one of the most bubbly, outgoing, gorgeous girls I know! She had me laughing through most of the shoot. :) Thank you Sarah!

    Enjoy!

    Kayla 2011 {Washington Senior Photographer}

    Tuesday, September 14th, 2010

    Meet Kayla :

    she is amazing, fun, giggly, smart, kind, spiritual, and everything good in the world.

    she is actually my cousin. :-) And I adore her.

    She wanted fun, unique, different, outstanding pictures for her senior portraits. Because, you see, she is graduating this school year.

    So her and her friend Kaylani came to me to have me take their senior photos. I had SO MUCH fun laughing, goofing off, and just exploring while taking their photos!

    And stay tuned for a post telling about my upcoming trip to Washington to take more amazing senior photos!

    Thank you again Kayla, you have many great things ahead of you!!

    (P.S. If you know Kayla, and want a hook up with Senior Photos, get in touch with her! Or shoot me a message :-) )

    Enjoy!

    Lauren 2010 Northridge High {Utah Senior Photographer}

    Saturday, June 12th, 2010

    Meet Lauren:

    She just graduated from Northridge High School! Can I tell you how lucky I am to have taken pictures of some of the most GORGEOUS and talented High School Graduates?!

    LUCKY

    They found me online, and called me up. Asked if I was available the next day. Luckily I was, because I wouldn’t have wanted to miss out on this gorgeous girl!

    We met up and went out shooting. We tried to find this old abandoned house, but they had torn it down (sad) and there were no trespassing signs, and bees EVERYWHERE! I didn’t want to risk her getting stung, so we hung out in the road. :-)

    Anyway, Enjoy meeting Lauren. :-) Oh, and sorry for the overload of pictures. Haha, I had SOOOO many that I liked!

    Make sure that you leave her some love. She deserves it. :-)

    Cherish {Utah Senior Photography}

    Monday, May 3rd, 2010

    This is a girl who has been through a lot. But she is doing awesome and has graduated HIGH SCHOOL!!

    WOOO HOOOO!!!

    And not only did she graduate, but she graduated early. :-) She was a lot of fun to photograph, and we had a very short amount of time to take her pictures. But we wandered the streets of Provo and rocked it anyway. So, please meet Cherish, part of the 2010 graduating class! CONGRATS!

    Thank you Cherish for letting me capture you in pictures. Love your face :-)

    Enjoy

    Kasey {Utah Portrait Photography}

    Friday, April 16th, 2010

    Meet Kasey.

    You have seen his sister before, and his nephew before, and now I had the chance to photograph him!

    I was so excited to find out that he was coming along to get his photos taken. You see, I don’t photograph too many guys. I think in “girl” mode. I know how to pose girls. So I was excited to practice on someone who I knew wouldn’t mind me practicing on them! So ALL throughout the shoot, I would pose him and then ask him if he felt girly. :-) Luckily he didn’t, and we were able to capture some AWESOME shots!

    I really love photographing this family. They are one of my favorite families in the world. They are SO sweet, and inviting. They have been through a lot, and still find ways to help others out. It’s seriously humbling.

    So thank you Kasey, and thank you Kasey’s mom for letting me be a small part of your family. It means the world to me. :-)

    Now, on to the pictures!

    Yes girls, those are his eyes. Make you melt?

    Thank you again! And please, leave some love for Kasey (one of my only male subjects on this blog) he deserves it. :-)

    Enjoy!
